I love the rush of physical terror in an otherwise controlled environment - that brief clutching of the heart that seizes you without actually making you feel unsafe. There were a lot more outlets for this kind of thing before I developed a sensitive lower back (no more roller coasters) and a sense of my own mortality (no more thrill rides in general). Now I just watch a lot of horror movies.
I get some critique from local historians with a different view. Some completely discount Chief Nampa as pure imagination. However, the fact is, all this information is available in books from the Nampa Libray and old copies on microfilm of old newspapers from the day. I think some of the critics need to spend a little more time researching and reading, but all opinions on it are most welcome. I spent a couple months researching this article. How much of it is true falls on the writers of the era. We'll probably never know the whole of the truth, but its a fun and mysterious story.
Also, it seems Jack really has done his homework! Including the Holodeck, time travel, the Mirror Universe, and Section 31 would turn this into a great game, as all of these proved to be stories with endless appeal in the series and books. Being able to truly feel like you are experiencing the reversal of the Mirror Universe or trying to uncover a covert Section 31 operation would make this game an epic success.
Interesting posts. My father had an affair and I as a child was the first person to figure it out - and follow him. We children demanded that our mother divorce the bum. Needing someone to grab on to like the sinking ship he is - he married the other woman. None of the children in our family (all grown now) have had any contact with him. In looking up something online about my brothers' children, I came across my father - cheating no less with men this time.
