Their amusing banter is a welcome respite from the darkness of the series. The real star of the show, however, is Millie Bobby Brown, who plays Eleven," an escaped prisoner from an experimental facility with strange telekinetic powers and very little to say. Eleven manages to convey everything that needs to be understood in a single look, a truly difficult feat for any adult actor, let alone a twelve-year-old.
