People nowadays are more health-conscious than they used to be. They understand that good health is above wealth. So, how does this 'magic' Qigong work? Or, what is so special about it? As if this "bullshit" theory of not eating to reduce weight wasn't already being tested by so many people in the west. Well, bare with us for a second, the trick is not exactly in not eating. Let's see what would happen to many overweight people, if they simply stopped eating for a few days. Theoretically speaking, having excess weight, their body would use all that fat and turn it into energy needed for normal life activities and they would lose their weight. Realistically though, they would feel extreme hunger, feel exhausted, see black spots in front of their eyes and end up pale with cold sweats and shaky hands. In other words, for some reason, all the other body tissue would suffer badly, but the fat tissue won't move. Not a gram. Very much like addictions, your body gives you the impression you need more alcohol, drugs or nicotine (in this case food), but the truth is you have more than enough of all that.
A good sleep is one great way to lose weight without depriving yourself of all the tasty meals or straining yourself with those difficult workouts. Actually studies done by Kenneth Wright at a laboratory in the University of Sleep and chronobiology found out that lack of enough can interfere with metabolism. This will lead to individual eating more hence adding more weight instead of losing. Among the tips to lose weight without diet and exercise, good sleep does so well.
Realizing that eating unhealthy food is a bad habit, like smoking or biting your nails, will help you break the cycle. Going cold turkey on favorite snack foods isn't possible for everyone, and if you relapse and chow down on some chocolate, the first step is to forgive yourself for the lapse. Identify the times of day or the activities you engage in that tempt you to reach for the junk food. Being aware that it's going to happen will help you stave off the cravings and gives you the chance to substitute in a healthier option. Don't be afraid to let your friends and family know what you're doing so they can support and cheer you on, and so they can help you avoid cravings.
Getting enough decent sleep is also important to ensure a healthy hormone balance. Your body produces the most testosterone and growth hormone at night, which are key hormones for better body composition. Quality sleep also reduces the stress hormone called cortisol. When we're sleep deprived, cortisol increases in order to keep your body running - but the result of this is lower 'real' energy, fatigue, food cravings and mental fog.
